A STATE OF DECEPTION

with a blue sword
impatient with visions
of harsh matrimony
(like bedding down
                       your dead wife)

And she hails a carriage
stepping delicately
inside  .  her parcel
of dreams
intimidates the young suitor
with its fiery magnitude
casually insisting
that he
take her life.
